WHAT IS A LOTTERY POOL?

A lotto pool let's you and your friends enjoy the fun of playing your favorite lottery games responsibly.

What it does:
It allows individuals to join into a group with other players to pool their money together to buy multiple lottery tickets without spending alot more money. If a winning ticket is purchased in that group, then the group members will split the Group pool lottery winnings based on the amount of tickets purchased by each individual. We deduct a small fee from the winnings before splitting it with the winning lottery group. We do not charge players to play the game.

Each group consists of no more than 50 members.

To join a lotto pool you must first create an account. To do that you can click on the Sign-up button and then fill in the necessary information to create your account. On mobile devices, you can click on the Sign-up button to be redirected to the signup page. It is free to create an account. In order to be entered into a pool, you will need to do the following:

1. Create your account HERE SIGN UP
2. Once your account is created, you can log into your account using the login button in the top menu
3. After logging into your account, you can click on your Account () in the top menu to redirect to your account page.
4. E-transfer a minimum amount of $1 to the following email account purchase@sumtix.com to be able to enter into a draw.
(May take up to 24 hours to process your E-Transfer)
5. Once your payment has been successful, Your credits will be added to your account. You can use these credits to join into a lottery pool. Each credit gets you $1 worth of lottery tickets.
6. Be sure to play responsibly. Lotteries are for entertainment purposes, there is no guarantee that you will win!

If you go to your account, you will be able to click on Your Lottery Groups button to see the different pools you are a part of.

Lottery pool group members are on a first come, first serve basis. Once funds for the lottery have been received, we will add credits to your account. (it may take up to 24 hours to process your request). Usual time is 1-30 mins.

If you like, you can go to your account page where you will be able to select a Lottery type that you would like to play, you cannot however add members to a group yourself, each player has a choice to join which ever lottery type they like (LottoMax, Lotto 649, Western Max, Western 649).
Pools consist of up to 50 members.
If all of the current pools are full when you join, then a new one will be created and you will be added to it.

Each lottery pool group has their own set of tickets. Tickets are purchased by us, and copies of the tickets for your group are created and uploaded to the website for you to view. You can view the tickets by clicking on the link on your Account page.

THE LOTTERY IS FOR FUN!

If you go to your account, you will be able to select Your Lottery Groups button to see the different lottery pools you are a part of. You can join as many pools as you like.
Once a pool has reached 50 members in it, a new pool is created, so it will always be a random group you will be joining.
There is a maximum of 50 players per pool. You can buy as many tickets as you would like for the pool.
Each time you buy a ticket, it will add more to the pool you selected (LottoMAX, Lotto649, WesternMAX, Western649)
You will also see your previous pools listed as well.

The fee to join a Lotto pool group is a minimum of $1.

What does this give you?
First we will update your account and give you Credits
Each Credit is equivalent to $1
Credits allow you to join a lottery pool group.
Choose how many credits you would like to enter into the selected draw.

All funds received via e-transfer, from players, are used for purchasing lottery tickets.

We currently only accept E-transfer. This helps us to keep track of the individuals that have paid to enter the lottery pool. Once we have received your funds we will add credits to your account. You can then use these credits to enter into Lottery pools. ($1 per credit)

You must be of legal age of majority in your location to be able to play.

KNOW YOUR LIMIT!

Of course. You can enter any lottery group you would like. You can select the lottery you would like to join on your account page.
You will be asked the type of lottery you would like to join and the number of tickets to purchase.

You must be entered into a pool on the morning of the draw, before the draw cutoff time (9:30am PT, 10:30am MT, 11:30am CT, 12:30pm ET, 1:30pm AT, 2:00pm NDT).

Depending on the lottery type.

LottoMAX/WesternMAX will be locked down on each Tuesday/Friday morning.

Lotto649/Western649 will be locked down on each Wednesday/Saturday morning.

During this time we will be purchasing tickets for the upcoming draws.

Copies of the lottery pool tickets will be added before the DRAW time.

You can view the tickets for your lottery pool draws by going to your Account and clicking the ticket icon below your account image.

If your lottery group secures a prize exceeding $10,000, Congratulations are in order! The prize allocation will be distributed among participants in proportion to the number of tickets each individual has purchased within the group, subsequent to the deduction of a 10% lottery fee.
Prizes surpassing $100 but falling below the $10,000 threshold necessitate redemption at a local Canadian Lottery Corporation head office. In the event that the winning sum exceeds $10,000, notification will be dispatched to the email address provided during registration. Please note that notifications will exclusively be sent to the email address associated with your account registration and used for E-transfer transactions pertaining to lottery participation. Requests to redirect winnings to an alternative email address will not be accommodated, as this policy is enforced for security and anti-scam measure

Total cash winnings are based on the following calculations:

Lottery pool group payout:
Total winnings - 10% fee = Total Lottery group payout.

Individual player payout:
(Individual player tickets purchased / Total amount of tickets purchased in Lottery pool group) * 100 = % of total winnings per player.

For example:
The Lottery pool group has 50 members and the total number of tickets between all players is 100 tickets. If you have entered (2) credits into that lottery pool then you will have a 2% share of the total Lottery Pool Winnings

All Lottery pool winnings will have a 10% fee deducted before payout amounts are divided among the players of that winning group

(100% of the money you send us, is used to purchase lottery tickets)

ALWAYS CHECK YOUR TICKETS!

Unfortunately No. The numbers will be drawn from a pre-selected group of numbers and those numbers will be used for the draws going forward. Remember, there are no Lucky numbers. Each combination of numbers has an equal probability of being drawn.

Yes, there is no limit on how many credits you can purchase and spend.

Each lottery group will have a maximum of 50 players, but each player can buy as many tickets as they would like.

Lotteries are for entertainment purposes, there is no guarantee that you will win. If you don't have expendable money then please refrain from gambling.

You have until the morning of the lottery draw to join a lottery pool. Approximately 10 hours before the draw. If your payment has not been received by then, you will not be given credits & will not be eligible to enter the draw for that day.
There are no exceptions to this rule.
After the draw is complete, the numbers will be posted to the website and the lotteries for that day will be reset and you will be able to join them once again.

The odds of winning the LottoMax or WesternMax top prize is greater than 1 in 33 million.
The odds of winning one of the 49 number draws such as Lotto 649, is greater than 1 in 13 million
Your odds do increase in a lottery pool. For example compared to buying a single ticket yourself, a pool of 50 players increases your chances by 50 times or more! Remember though, the odds of winning a jackpot prize are minimal.
A lottery pool will also increase your chances on the smaller prizes such as the secondary prize.
